This Week:

  • Regular Quarterly Business Meeting will be Wednesday, April 24th at 6 pm.

  • Friday, April 26th, our church will be hosting a video simulcast of Secret Church. Secret Church is a yearly event led by Pastor David Platt that seeks to remember the persecuted church around the world and equip believers to be faithful to the call of God on their lives. This year, we are praying especially for the Somali people of East Africa. This event is free, all you have to do is sign up and show up! The event will begin with dinner at 6:00 pm and the simulcast starting at 7:00 pm. To sign up, visit the welcome center in the atrium, or talk to Pastor Drew. (for more info, visit https:// secretchurch.radical.net/)

  • The Bible Scribe Project—The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John scribed by 43 of our church members has finally been professionally bound. It is in the church library for viewing by our church family.

  • Deacons of the Week:
    • Tim Collins
    • Andy McCay
    • Wayne Carpenter
    • Matt Ledford

  • Mother’s Day Craft Night – Saturday, May 4th from 6-8 pm – Ages youth and up. This event will be held in the Annex. Light refreshments with coffee and tea provided. You will make both a card for Mother’s Day (or any occasion) and a spring wreath. This is an excellent opportunity to invite someone you’ve been encouraging to visit FBC Athens. You need to sign up so we can make sure to have enough supplies on hand (there will be a small fee to cover materials). A sign-up sheet in the Welcome Center.
