CrossTraining for Kids – begins August 15th!  More information available in the Welcome Center

 

 

Shoes for Orphan Souls boxes will be available in the Atrium and Fellowship Hall to place NEW shoes for vulnerable children around the world. Shoes will be accepted from August 1st – August 31st.

 

 

Operation Christmas Child Now is the time to start shopping for school supplies for the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. If you have any questions, contact Tracey Hennessee at 423.421.2603.

 

 

Church-wide trip to watch the Atlanta Braves vs the Boston Red Sox is September 3rd. Cost is $35. Our group will depart FBC at 9:30 am, eat lunch at the stadium; game is at 1:15, dinner after the game. We will return to FBC at approximately 8:00 pm.

 

 

Senior Adult trip to Biltmore Estate on August 24th, 2018, to see the “Chihuly Nights” exhibit. The group will depart FBC at 9 AM on the 24th and return during the late afternoon on August 25th. The cost is $145 per person – cost includes trip, room, breakfast, a day tour of the house and grounds, and a night tour of the Chihuly exhibit. Dale Chihuly is a world-renowned sculptor, well known for his large-scale blown glass sculptures.
