This Week:

 

Tonight – Sunday Nights Together

 

We continue to gather in the sanctuary for Sunday Nights Together, a brief time of worship and teaching followed by a time of congregational prayer. These Sunday evenings will be a great way to end the Lord’s Day, and I hope you will make it a priority to be there. The topic on October 15 will be “How Husband’s Get Their Prayers Answered”

 

  • Tuesday – Senior Adult Lunch at 12 Noon
  • Wednesday – Morning Bible Study, Family Dinner, Prayer Meeting, Adult Choir, KidSing and AWANA
  • Thursday – Senior Adult Choir Practice at 10 am
  • International Friends – 10:30 am

 

 

Upcoming Events:

 

Fall Festival

FBC Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, October 29 from 4 – 6 PM. This family event will in-clude games, booths, inflatables, a climbing wall and other exciting activities. Please invite the community to our campus for while we celebrate the Fall season.

 

Women’s Painting

Event A Women’s Painting Will be offered on Friday, Oct. 27 from 5:30 –9PM. The class is open to 7th grade girls up to any age! Step by step instructions on painting on canvas will be  taught by Misty of Creator’s Canvas. Cost is $30, which is due by Oct. 22. Sign up in the Atrium or at creatorscanvas.com. Space is limited.

 

Senior Adult Luncheon

Come join us on Tues. Nov. 17 at noon for food, fellowship, and entertainment by the East Athens quartet. The cost is $5 and a sign up sheet is in the Atrium.

 

International Friends

International Friends will meet on October 19th at 10:30AM in the FBC parking lot.

 

Upcoming Business Meetings

Next regular Business Meeting will be on October 18th. We will have a called Business Meeting on November 1st to discuss the proposed 2018 Budget and policy manual change. We will vote on the proposed budget in the November 5th Morning Service without discussion.

 

The Ladies of Lee

will be leading us in worship during the Sunday morning service on October 29.

 

Operation Christmas Child

A list of suggested items and stickers for the boxes are in the Atrium. Shipping cost of $9.00 needs to be placed in each unsealed box. Deadline for bringing filled boxes to FBC is Nov. 19. There will be no packing party but if you have items to donate, place them in the Atrium and they will be included in other boxes.
