    What It Takes to See God Move: Praying the Prayer of the Intercessor Numbers 16:44-50 By Dr. Bill Henard    

  1. A Prayer of Urgency.

16:46 take your firepan, place fire from the altar in it, and add incense  

  1. A Prayer that Takes Risks.

16:47 Aaron took his firepan… ran into the middle of the assembly  

  1. A Prayer that Seeks the Forgiveness of God.

16:47 he added incense, he made atonement for the people  

  1. A Prayer that Intercedes for Those Outside of Christ.

16:48 he stood between the dead and the living  

  1. A Prayer that Believes that God Still Saves.

  • Ladies’ Prayer Team will meet Tuesday, August 6th at 1:30 pm in the Prayer Room. All ladies are invited.


  • Deacons of the Week: Travis Barnett, Shad Simms, Keith Price, Billy Tindell.


  • Now is the perfect time to prepare for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. August is the perfect time to purchase the school supplies for the boxes, as well as purchase any items for the “girl” boxes, including a special toy or item for a girl. September will be “boys” month. October is for hygiene items.

  • Monthly Meetings: Monday, August 12th:

    • Deacon wives meet for prayer at 7pm in the Atrium.


  • Women on Mission will meet Tuesday, August 13th at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will follow at 12 pm.


  • Senior Adult Luncheon will be Tuesday, August 20th at 12 PM. A sign-up sheet is in the Welcome Center.


  • Church-wide trip to Space Center Museum in Huntsville, Alabama – Saturday, August 17th. Lunch at the Mars Grill on your own. Depart FBC at 8 am. Cost is $23.00 per person. Sign-up sheet is in the Welcome Center.
