Weekly Update 10.7.20
Hello Church Family,
It has been an amazing four weeks being back together in Sunday school. I am hearing so many positive reports from people about being back in fellowship and learning together. I want to encourage you if you are not involved in a class yet, please jump in. Let us know how we can help you find the right class. Here are some opportunities to be aware of in the coming weeks:
Discover First Class will be on Sunday, October 25th immediately following Sunday school. Lunch will be provided so please RSVP to the church office. This class if for those that have joined the church , would like to join the church in the future, or those that want to know more about the ministries of FBC Athens. This is an exciting class the is always a good time to get to know new people.
Fall Festival will be Wednesday, October 28th from 5:30-7:30 pm. There will be so many things happening here on campus. We need YOU to serve and be ready to help our community see Jesus in us. Please reach out to Karen Ellis to see where you can join in the fun!
Finally, if you are a Sunday school Teacher or Assistant Teacher, we are having training this Sunday, October 11th. Please RSVP to joe@fbcathens.com as lunch will be served. I am very excited about our guest that will be helping us with this time. You will not want to miss it!
We are praying for you all to have an amazing week with the Lord. I know you will seek Him in all things and the Lord will bless your time with Him. Let's get back together on Sunday morning to celebrate all that He has done!
