Weekly Update: 9.23.20
Good afternoon everyone!
I hope you are all doing well and finding the Lord's mercies new every morning. The season change is upon us, and we are all making plans to enjoy the newness. Our church has some opportunities for you coming up. Let us know if you have any questions.
Sunday school has relaunched at a new time (10:45 am) following the worship service. All of our classes using the same curriculum which makes it so easy for our entire church to dig deeper in study and fellowship. Take some time to think about who around you needs this type of atmosphere and environment for their faith and invite them to join you. You won't regret stepping out in faith.
Fall Festival is coming soon! We have some new ideas that the Lord has led us to in order to reach out to our community. Candy donations can be dropped off at the church to disperse during the event. Begin praying right now for the Lord to do something amazing! Date of the event is Wed, Oct 28th. More details to come!
3. Sunday school teacher (and assistant teacher) training will be Sunday, Oct 11th following the worship service. Stick around as lunch is provided. Please RSVP to joe@fbcathens.com. There will be specified training on compiling the lesson as well as delivery.
