Weekly Update 9.28.21

Church Family,

This past Sunday we softly rolled out our new Children's Check-in technology. We did this for two reasons: 1.) Security for you and your children and 2.) to introduce you all to new procedure making this process easier. There are several reasons for doing a soft rollout like we did: 1.) to ensure that the procedure will work each time we use it. 2.) Help you get used to using it, and 3.) to work through any programming issues. We helped 41 people check in with one station by the main entrance. As we move forward, we will take the next two Sundays to continue to help you become familiar with the new procedure. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.

Finally, I want to make sure all our parents know that we make the safety of your child and their security a priority. Parents, using this technology is a step forward in that thought process. You will find two Check-in stations outside the preschool area and one more outside the Children's area upstairs. Please begin checking in your preschooler or child on Sunday. Here is how it works:

  1. Type in the last 4 digits of your cell phone number.

  2. Select your family

  3. Touch the circle below your name and the names of your children.

  4. Touch the box labeled "Check in"

  5. The printer will print out one sticker for each preschooler or child that will have a unique code on it for your kids.

  6. The final sticker will be the one you keep as a parent. The code on that sticker will match the one for your children.

  7. Show this to the Sunday school teacher to match the code and collect your child.

I hope this message finds you all seeking after the Lord and looking forward with excitement about what God is going to do at FBC.

Blessings,

Pastor Joe
